I’m a pretty outdoorsy person…

…So when I discovered an open Copywriter role at an outdoorsy company, I jumped on the opportunity. Kalkomey works with governing agencies to develop safety education courses for boaters and hunters throughout the U.S. and Canada, so I got some valuable B2G experience while simultaneously encouraging people to get outside – safely and legally, of course. During my time with Kalkomey, I worked on things like:

  • Collaborating with design and product teams to build a new boater education brand from scratch

  • Planning, scheduling, and publishing all social media content for six of the company’s proprietary brands

  • Delivering SEO-friendly copy for paid search ads, digital display ads, website landing pages, and all other marketing channels

  • Working with Executive Leadership and Human Resources teams to develop new corporate values
